We are proud of our history and have been supplying quality textile clothing to healthcare since 1961.
1961
Martinson Konfektion AB started in Torsbo, Sweden, and started manufacturing workwear for health care.
1983
Martinson Konfektion AB was acquired by Ulf Jansson, Stockholm. During this period the company developed and also became successful in cleanroom clothing, patient clothing and surgical textiles.
2001
Martinson Konfektion AB is bought by Fristads AB.
2011
Martinson Konfektion AB was merged into Kwintet Sverige AB and became part of Europe’s leading company in workwear.
2015
Kwintet gets new owners and changes its name to FRISTADS KANSAS GROUP, which includes brands such as Fristads, Kansas, Hejco and B&C.
2020
Forms the Martinson and Hejco brands into its own legal company, HejMar AB.
2021
The Fristads, Kansas and Leijona brands are sold to the Hultafors Group. Since 2021, the Martinson and Hejco brands are part of The Cotton Group together with Sverre W Monsen, B&C, Wenaas and Clinic & Job Dress.
